Muhammed Sefa Tetikoğlu, İdeal Eğitim-Sen Genel Başkanı olarak eğitimin her alanında hak, adalet ve vizyon mücadelesini sürdürüyor.
1977 yılında Bitlis’in Tatvan ilçesinde dünyaya gelen Muhammed Sefa Tetikoğlu, hayatının her döneminde eğitim ve topluma hizmeti kendisine ilke edindi. Üç çocuk babası olan Tetikoğlu, aile değerlerine bağlılığı, azmi ve çalışkanlığıyla çevresinde örnek gösterilen bir isimdir.
Eğitim yolculuğuna Tatvan’da başlayan, orta öğrenimini İstanbul’da tamamlayan Tetikoğlu, Fırat Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Programcılığı ve Balıkesir Necatibey Eğitim Fakültesi Bilişim Teknolojileri Öğretmenliği bölümlerinden mezun oldu. Bilişim alanındaki bu güçlü akademik altyapı, ona hem eğitim hem de teknoloji sahasında derin bir bakış açısı kazandırdı. “Mutlaka Başarmalıyız, Başarı Bizler İçindir” anlayışıyla meslek hayatına adım atan Tetikoğlu, disiplin ve gayretiyle kısa sürede öne çıktı.
2015 yılında mevcut sendikaların siyasallaşması nedeniyle sendikal yapıya güvenin zayıfladığını gören Tetikoğlu, İdeal Eğitim-Sen’in kurulmasına öncülük etti. Genel Başkanlığa seçilen Tetikoğlu, eğitim çalışanlarının haklarını korumayı, onların mesleki, sosyal ve kültürel gelişimlerine katkı sunmayı sendikanın temel misyonu haline getirdi.
Sendikanın vizyonu; eğitimde adalet ve hakkaniyeti savunmak, milli eğitim sistemini daha güçlü bir seviyeye taşımak ve eğitim emekçilerinin haklarını güvence altına almak üzerine kuruldu.
Tetikoğlu’na göre eğitim, bir zorunluluk değil gönüllülük işidir. “Eğitim bir modeldir, eğitim herkes içindir, eğitimsiz hiçbir şey faydalı olmaz” diyen Tetikoğlu, tüm okullarda bilişim ve teknoloji derslerinin zorunlu hale getirilmesini, yerli ve milli yazılımın geliştirilmesini ve dijital çağa uygun nesiller yetiştirilmesini savunuyor.
Atanamayan öğretmenlerin sorunlarının çözülmesi, görevdeki öğretmenlerin aile birliğinin korunması, ek ders ve sosyal haklarda adaletin sağlanması gerektiğini her fırsatta dile getiren Tetikoğlu, bu mücadeleyi kararlılıkla sürdürüyor.
Eğitim sendikacılığının yanı sıra sosyal ve kültürel çalışmalara da önem veren Tetikoğlu, 1 Mayıs’ta emekçilerin haklarını savunmuş, 8 Mart’ta kadınların değerini vurgulamış, geleneksel iftar programlarıyla dayanışmayı güçlendirmiştir. Memleketi Tatvan’ın kültürünü ve Türk mutfağının zenginliğini dünyaya tanıtmayı da kendine görev bilmiştir.
Gençlere dair vizyonunu “Eğer gençlerimizi hak ettikleri yere taşıyabilirsek, ülkemiz sadece sınırlarımız içinde değil, dünyada da söz sahibi olur” sözleriyle açıklayan Tetikoğlu, milli ve manevi değerlerle donanmış, çalışkan ve üretken bir nesil yetiştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.
Doğa tutkusu, sanata ilgisi ve kültürel duyarlılığıyla da bilinen Tetikoğlu, hayatını “memleket sevdalısı” bir anlayışla sürdürmekte, Bitlis Tatvan’dan aldığı değerleri ülkenin her köşesine taşımaktadır.

A Visionary Leader Devoted to Education
Muhammed Sefa Tetikoğlu, President of İdeal Eğitim-Sen, continues his struggle for justice, rights, and vision in every field of education
Born in 1977 in Tatvan, Bitlis, Muhammed Sefa Tetikoğlu has embraced education and service to society as his guiding principle throughout his life. A father of three, Tetikoğlu is known for his dedication to family values, perseverance, and hard work, standing as a role model for his community.
He began his education in Tatvan, completed his secondary schooling in Istanbul, and graduated from Fırat University (Computer Programming) and Balıkesir Necatibey Faculty of Education (Information Technology Teaching). His strong academic foundation in information technologies provided him with deep insight into both education and technology. Entering professional life with the motto “We Must Succeed, Success is Ours,” he quickly stood out with his effort and discipline.
In 2015, recognizing the growing politicization of unions and the resulting crisis of trust, Tetikoğlu pioneered the establishment of İdeal Eğitim-Sen. Elected as its president, he made it the union’s mission to defend the rights of education workers while supporting their professional, social, and cultural development.
The union’s vision is built on defending justice and fairness in education, strengthening the national education system, and securing the future of society by protecting education workers’ rights.
According to Tetikoğlu, education is based on voluntarism, not obligation. “Education is a model, education is for everyone, and without education nothing can be beneficial,” he insists. He advocates making computer science and technology courses compulsory at all levels, promoting domestic and national software development, and preparing generations for the digital era.
Tetikoğlu consistently raises issues such as the problems of unemployed teachers, the family unification of appointed teachers, and the need for justice in extra class fees and social rights.
Beyond unionism, he is active in social and cultural fields: defending workers’ rights on May 1st, honoring women on March 8th, organizing traditional iftar programs, and promoting both the heritage of his hometown Tatvan and the richness of Turkish cuisine globally.
Summarizing his vision for youth, Tetikoğlu says: “If we can bring our youth to the position they deserve, our country will not only have influence within its borders but also a voice in the world.” His aim is to raise a hardworking, value-oriented, and successful generation equipped with both national spirit and universal ethics.
With his passion for nature, culture, and art, Tetikoğlu lives as a “lover of his homeland,” carrying the values he gained in Tatvan to every corner of Turkey.
